One of the things I love about God’s Word, the holy Scriptures, is the truth it teaches. Though years separate us from the stories of the people in its pages, human nature is the same whether in the time of Moses or in our current culture And God is the same, a gracious, loving God who wants to pour out abundant blessings on His people. Our part is to love Him, living by the agreements found in the Covenant, the sacred scriptures. When we do, God’s favor rests on our families, our land, and our government. When we don’t, evil rises.
